Created by the developers of IonBallEX, a pretty cool brick breaker on Windows Phone 7, Battlewagon is a new and fresh project, that will be released on the Marketplace by the end of the year. The player will control and upgrade a battlewagon to capture castles and fight enemies easily by simply touching the screen. The graphics look pretty amazing so far, and very 16 bits too. Hopefully, the game will be ready before next year and available at a correct price…

Ghostcape was originally a free flash game on PC. Psionic Games has decided to release an enhanced version of its game on Windows Phone 7 with new puzzles and surprises. As you will see in the trailer below, the game is a survival-horror with various puzzles to solve and fights with ghosts during which you will have to use your camera to kill the revenants. Ghostscape will be released on November 30 and will cost $2.99 / €2.99 / £1.99.

Mirror is definitely a very simple application, easy to use and with incredibly basic features. It allows everyone to check its own face with the front-facing camera. Of course, you have got to have a WP7 device with a front-facing camera, and Mango. If not, all you will get is a funny message. Better than nothing hu?

Even if the game is not as bad as some reviewers said (we gave a correct 12 out of 20 in our review in French), it’s not an amazing game neither. Actually, it’s a pretty decent puzzle game, rather similar to Puzzle Quest 2 but with a very old fashioned design and pretty repetitive missions. The game is now available at $4.99 / €4.99, instead of the usual $6.49 / € 6.49.

The game seems pretty amazing and delivers an action-packet adventure in a futuristic world.

If we still have no precise release date for the Omnia W, aka Focus Flash in America, we already know that it seems to be a pretty good phone. Normally, the Focus Flash should be pretty cheap and offer all the qualities of a great phone with 8gb memory, a front and a back camera, a Super AMOLED 3.8″ screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 CPU and a Adreno 205 GPU, and all the usual characteristics that you can find in any other Windows Phone 7. The marketing seems pretty clever, even though it is pretty hard to determine hat is the target public…

We already knew that Microsoft was supposed to change some characteristics of the WP7 requirements in a few months, but apparently, the company has decided to solve the matter earlier by cancelling a few requirements. From now, HTC, Nokia, Samsung and all the other companies will be able to produce cheaper phones without cameras, gyro and compass. Logically, we should see more affordable WP7 handsets in stores next year.
